Learn English in Malta

Academic Year Programme, consisting of a minimum of 24 tuition weeks, is ideal for those preparing to enter university or preparing to follow a post-graduate degree. This course can also be followed by those taking a gap year from their studies or those on study leave from work.

When students choose to participate in our Academic Year Course, they benefit from integrating in an academic and international environment. A solid foundation is built by constantly assessing progress, having a specially tailored syllabus and helping every student with his/her specific needs.

Throughout the course students will:

-         receive academic counselling
-         attend weekly tutorials to address difficulties
-         be exposed to different native accents, becoming adept at listening to different speeds
-         use authentic material in class in order to achieve a greater understanding of natural, real English
-         attend pronunciation focus lessons to deal with stress, intonation and the IPA system
-         learn and activate colloquial language, idioms and phrasal verbs
-         be motivated to produce accurate and fluent language when speaking and writing
-         learn English through a variety of topics and themes thus increasing their topic specific vocabulary.

Students may choose to take an internationally recognised examination (City & Guilds, FCE, CAE, IELTS, and LCCI) during the course.
