The ESOL for Young Learners examination is available for children aged from 8 to 13. The test consists of 1 paper covering listening, reading and writing skills.
The ESOL for Young Learners examination uses child-friendly topics such as parties, pen-pals and pets. The test tasks focus on use of English in contexts that children experience in day-to-day life.
The examination is available on-demand, students can choose the date and time that is suitable for them.
The test is available in 2 different levels; Basic (Beginner/A1, Common European Framework) and Elementary (A2, Common European Framework).
