City & Guilds - Spoken ESOL for Young Learners

The Spoken ESOL for Young Learners examination is aimed at students aged from 8 to 13.  The test has been designed specifically for young people and covers topics that will be encountered in day-today life.

The Spoken ESOL for Young Learners boosts and recognises students ability in Spoken English and is available in 2 different levels; Basic (Beginner/A1, Common European Framework) and Elementary (A2, Common European Framework).

The test consists of a 1 to 1 spoken interview with a Link School of English member of staff, ensuring the student is comfortable and at ease.  The member of staff will act as a conversation partner and manage the interview.  The interview will be recorded, either on audio cassette or CD, and sent to City & Guilds, where it will be marked by a trained examiner.
