Course 5 - English for Aviation

20 lessons per week, each lesson: 45 minutes

With all aircraft presently grounded it is of importance that maintenance and ruthless checks are all done on aircraft.  Mobile Testing Teams must come into force and staff must be trained preferably in the English   language in the event that they may be required to travel in the near future to exchange manuals and conservation techniques.  Having busy schedules, our courses encourage training in the English language segment related to the Aviation Industry. For  pilots and  airline staff  it is presently ideal  to indulge  in  new   methodologies  to prepare  themselves  when airports will come to life once again.

Consequently, we have  developed  a  comprehensive  programme  in  easy and economical  format   to ease  your  command in this language  and  move  you  around the world  - it is your choice!

Course Overview

Module 1- International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

Speaking English is now an international obligation imposed on all pilots by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).   So all pilots and airline staff  (private or professional) using radiotelephony communications will  be required, from now on, to have attached to their licence, the Certificate of "English Language Proficiency" demonstrating their proficiency in plain language.


Module 2Proficiency

This Module is based on the English language proficiency standards covering Pronunciation, Structure, Vocabulary, Fluency, Comprehension and Interactions all within the aviation industry.

 

Module 3Aviation jargon 

This Module provides an introduction  to  aviation jargon  adopting an integrated skills approach. The course concentrates on structure and usage, oral communication, vocabulary development and listening and reading comprehension.

 

Module 4 –Final examination

Within the Air-English.com testing team, fully qualified aviation and teaching experts have combined their knowledge in order to provide you with a final  examination.
